We seem to have somewhat of a tradition lately of going camping on Easter weekend. This year the weather report was calling for rain but mild temperatures. It turned out to be very pleasant with just a bit of rain Saturday afternoon. It was a popular weekend at Five Mile Pass, but the area is large enough to accommodate a lot of people. Many of the trailers and tents were gathered together in large group areas which left a lot of area open for other campers such as us. Five Mile Pass is full of great trails including climbs, berms, whoops, rocks and tight twisty doubletrack through the trees, and is located west of Cedar Fort. It's easy to find trails with little or no other traffic to play on even on a busy weekend. Owen really had a blast pushing his limits on the KTM since he is fairly new to riding. He also kept with the Easter tradition by cutting his head again this year! The boys were playing with glass and a piece hit him in the head. Activities included an Easter egg hunt outside, dirt bike and buggy riding, Frisbee, football, target shooting, and sitting by the camp fire in the evenings. Here are a few pictures we took of the fun we had.
