Taking The Traxxas Revo 3.3 to The Dirt

More fun with our RC truck today. We discovered that the ride height could be adjusted much more effectively by moving the mounting location of the spring arms than by adjusting the pre-load of the springs. There are 3 positions to chose from and by choosing the mounting hole closest to the wheels with the long travel springs and rockers we dialed it in to suit our style. With the clutch and jetting dialed in, we were finally able to just let it rip out in the dirt. Still, we are so limited on this little hill as to what the potential is with this truck. We may get to know a little more what it can do next week, but this is a good start! We hope you enjoy these picks and the short video below.

  3. Dude, I played with a 8,000 pound giant remote control car today for 8 hours at work. Pretty sweet, the remote control had a strap to go around your neck and you just stand there and do some work with it, it has a diesel gas engine and is about a size of a four wheeler. It's supposed to be a roller to pack down the dirt so you don't have to use a jumping jack. The roller is awfully loud and it also vibrates. I am going to play with some more tomorrow in Nephi and get paid for it!

  4. Sweet, I wish I could have used one of those instead of a wacker..the wacker was still pretty fun though. Have fun tomorrow. I think a nitro jet would be pretty fun too.

  8. Yeah, I broke my pinky toe with one of those when I was working for Todd Alder once, it did hurt like hell for like 4 weeks. I did end up going to the doctor though. It finally got better after like a month. They call those jackhammers with a foot a jumping jack.
